This 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris will take place in western Uganda which has the highest number of national Parks in Uganda, gifted with various wildlife species, vegetation cover and beautiful scenaries. The places to visit are Bwindi impenetrable national park home of the half of the endangered mountain gorilla species in its Bwindi impenetrable forest also referred to as Africa’s true jungle because of the dense forest cover. Lake Mburo National Park which has the biggest number of Zebras and also home to other species like warthogs, buffaloes, oribis, antelopes among others.
Queen Elizabeth National Park the most visited and famous national Park in Uganda, well known for its wildlife species like the famous climbing lions, antelopes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, chimpanzee, water bucks, crocodiles and over 600 bird species. Kibale National Park habitat to 13 species of primate which include chimpanzees, white and black colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys etc. the park is also home to over 300 bird species. Detailed Itinerary of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris
Day 1: Set off for Lake Mburo National Park-Wildlife viewing
The first day of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, start your journey for Uganda safaris and tours, visit lake Mburo National Park, the closest part from Kampala/Entebbe. Our Uganda wildlife safari company representative will also be your guide driver will pick you from the hotel after a heavy breakfast and set off for western Uganda via the Masaka-Mbarara high way.
Stop over will be done at Mpambire drum maker center and see where drums come from and also at the imaginary line that divides the world into two hemisphere the Norther and Southern called the Equator, you will be allowed to take as many photos as you wish to keep the memories alive. After you will head straight to the park check in at the lodge have lunch, later go for a game drive and sight on wildlife species like Zebras which you will see almost everywhere in the Park, warthogs, buffaloes, oribis, antelopes among others and different bird species. Head back to the lodge for dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2 transfer from lake Mburo national park to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
After breakfast on day 2 of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, you will set off for Bwindi impenetrable National Park via Mbarara city for Uganda gorilla trekking tours, on you way the beautiful landscapes and rolling terraces will amuse you. Up on your arrival at the southwestern part of the Park, check in at the lodge of your choice, relax for the whole of the evening and later in the have dinner and an Overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking Bwindi forest & Community walk
After a very early breakfast with enough drinking water on the third day of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, head to the park head quarter with your guide driver for briefing on the dos and don’ts gorilla trekking Uganda bwindi while in Bwindi Impenetrable national park and at 8:00 am commence your gorilla trekking safari journey. the search for these endangered mountain gorillas ranges from 2-8 hours depending on where the Apes hosted the night and based on their movement, strong hiking shoes, rain jacket and a walking stick are essential requirements to carry to the forest.
On meeting with the species, you will be allowed to spend an hour with them, experience their day to day activities which is a breath-taking experience as you watch the playful juveniles, the head of the gorilla family “the silver back” females breast feeding. Your free to take as much photos as possible with a non-flash light camera, no noises allowed in the forest, keep a safe distance from the gorillas. After trekking you will be rewarded with trekking certificates and head to the lodge and rest. After lunch you will either stay at the lodge or take a walk through the Batwa community guided with people who know them better, interact with them, learn how they survive in the area, experience as they perform their traditional dances, songs and drama. Later return to the lodge for dinner and rest for the night.

Day 4: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife viewing and boat cruise
On the 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, have testy breakfast, after commence your journey to Queen Elizabeth via the Ishasha sector of the park, this sector is famous for its climbing lions and various wildlife species like elephants, warthogs, water bucks, antelope, Uganda Kobs, different bird species to mention but a few. On arriving you will check in at the lodge of your choice have lunch and later go for an evening game drive where you will spot the above wildlife species and multiple of others. After the drive head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: game drive and Boat cruise along the kazinga channel
This day 5 of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, wake up very earl in the morning and have breakfast and at 6:30 you commence with this game drive activity, game drive are done very early because the animals tend to hide away from the sun during day hence making it difficult to be spotted , You stand a chance of seeing wild animals like waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and the famous climbing lions as well as the various bird species. After the game drive you go back to the lodge have a late breakfast and later lunch.
In the afternoon you will take pleasure in cruising on a 2 hours boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which basically one of the most eye-catching activities in the park, while on the cruise you will see more animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants taking water and also bathing, warthogs, bird species like the malachite Kingfisher, Pink backed pelican among others on the banks of the Kazinga channel. After go back to the lodge for diner and rest and call it a day.

Day 6: Depart to Kibale national park
Day 6 of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, after a relaxed tasty breakfast, you will have a morning game drive, pay a visit at the baboon cliffs and see the beautiful sceneries. After head to the lodge for lunch and check out of the lodge and embark on an approximately 2-3-hour drive to Kibale National Park home of chimpanzees. Up on arrival check in at the lodge of your choice have dinner in the evening and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi wetland walk
After breakfast early in the morning on the day 7 of 8 Day Uganda gorilla trekking & Wildlife adventure safaris, the driver will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda wildlife Authority rangers on the dos and don’ts of the forest. The search for these amazing chimpanzees in Kibale forest will commence at 8: 00 am and last for about 2-6 hours depending on where the chimps slept the previous day and on their locomotion. On meeting the chimpanzees, you will be allocated 1 hour with these amazing creators in their natural habitat see how they behave , feed, play, communicate, breast feed among other amazing wonders on these primates, you will also have a chance to spot other wildlife species including golden monkeys, the grey cheeked mangabey, bush babies, L’Hoests monkeys, otters, bush pigs, baboons, Bird species like green breasted pitta, great blue turaco among others. Thinking about meeting chimpanzees in their nature environment sounds a little bit scary but it’s one of the most rewarding activities in the world.
Later return at the lodge for lunch and after you will visit Bigodi wetlands, a habitant to various bird species, some primates and locals leaving around the area. Later after all the activities for the day return at the lodge have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Return to Kampala
