Day 1: Travel to Bwindi impenetrable Park
Day 1 of 4 Days Gorilla Trekking and Habituation in Uganda, a representative of the True Uganda safaris guide driver will pick you up from your location early in the morning after breakfast, brief you about your gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park and set off to Bwindi National Park. The journey will be approximately a 9-hour drive via Masaka-Mbarara highway to the southern sector of the Park. You will have a first stop over at Masaka on the Equator for photography and the experiment, another stopover will be in Mbarara town for a lunch break.
Embark on the journey arriving in the evening at your destination. The drive is long but worth much more to see the wild animals like Zebras and Impala in lake Mburo National park grazing. You can check in at the lodge to have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking day in Bwindi forest
Amazing day 2 of gorilla habituation safaris you will go to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda wildlife Authority ranger guide after an early morning breakfast. After the briefing, the rangers will lead you to the forest to search for the endangered rare mountain gorilla species in in side Bwindi impenetrable national park. Trackers will lead you to where the gorillas nested their previous night and getting to them depends on their movement. It’s a tiresome experience since it can take you almost 3-8 hours to find the gorillas but all this is worth the adventure, however meeting these gorillas will make you forget all the hardships encountered and all only the good memories you will get on meeting them will stick in the brain. Up on reaching where they are, you will be given a full hour to interact with them in their natural habitat and you should keep maximum silence while with these mountain gorillas photos are allowed but only with non-flashlight cameras. After the trek you will either choose to relax at the lodge or take a community walk, after all the hustle of the day you will have dinner and call it a day.
Day 3: Gorilla Habituation day in Bwindi forest
on the third day of 4 Days Gorilla Trekking and Habituation in Uganda, after breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to Rushaga in the southern sector of Bwindi impenetrable National Park where gorilla habituation experience takes place, you will have briefing about the dos and don’ts with in the forests and receive instructions on how to conduct yourself while in Bwindi forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be given 4 hours to spend with these semi habituated gorillas, this experience gives you more time learning about the life of gorillas in the forest. The idea is to go with researchers and help them in teaching the gorillas how to get used to human presence in their habitat to allow future gorilla trekking. After habituation you will rest and last in the evening having dinner and hosting the night in lodges like Bunyonyi overland camp, moderate Arcade cottages or luxury Bird’s Nest lodge.
Day 4: Boat ride and return back to Kampala
