10 days uganda safaris : gorilla trekking and wildlife safaris

10 day Uganda Safari offers opportunities for game viewing drives, a walk to the summit of Murchison Falls, and a boat tour down the Victoria Nile. After visiting Kibale Forest for Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi nature walk, go to Queen Elizabeth National Park for additional animal sightings and a boat trip on the impressive Kazinga waterway. The final part of the safari will lead you to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, passing via the Ishasha sector, where you will have the opportunity to observe the tree-climbing lions. The final event of the tour will consist of Gorilla Tracking, during which you will have the opportunity to observe the Endangered mountain Gorillas.

10 days Uganda Safari

Day 1: Transport from Entebbe International Airport to Kampala

On day 1 of  10 days  uganda safari, Our chauffeur/guide is going to meet and receive you upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. He will transfer you to Kampala, the capital of Uganda, after which he will take you to your accommodation and provide you with a briefing on the past of Uganda and an overview of the safari. Enjoy an evening meal and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Journey to Murchison Falls National Park

The driver will transport you to Murchison Falls by driving northwest, passing through the renowned Luwero Triangle, and then continuing to Masindi via the Ziwa Rhino Project. Our chauffeur will transport you to the ziwa Rhino sanctuary for the purpose of engaging in Rhino trekking. After your lunch break, you will continue on to Murchison Falls.

Day 3: Morning Safari and River Excursion

In the morning, you will embark on a game drive along the northern banks of the River Nile. You have a high likelihood of observing elephants, lions, giraffes, hartebeest, and many bird species. Proceed to have lunch and in the afternoon, you will embark on a boat excursion. You will go on a boat excursion to the base of the waterfall, where you will see the powerful egress of water from the stones. You will observe hippos and other creatures quenching their thirst from the river’s edge. Enjoy an evening meal and spend the night at the resor

Day 4: Travel to Kibale National Park

Day 4 of 10 days Uganda Safari, Indulge in an espresso of African coffee and your driver will take you to Kibale National Park. You will get the opportunity to observe nearby residences, lush scenery, and tiny agricultural enterprises situated along the Albertine Rift escarpment. The duration of the voyage is approximately 7-8 hours by car, and upon arrival, you will proceed to check-in at the hotel.

Day 5: Engaging in Chimpanzee Trekking and exploring the Bigodi Swamp

10 days Uganda Safari, After breakfast, proceed to headquarters to receive a briefing. Embark into the dense wilderness to locate chimpanzees. Game rangers has the knowledge of the precise locations where chimps can be easily located. Once they locate the chimpanzees, they spend approximately one hour in their presence. After returning for lunch, proceed to Bigodi Marsh, renowned for being a prime birdwatching area. Enjoy an evening meal and spend the night at the resort.

Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

The transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park will commence following your morning meal. The driver takes you through the southern region, traveling via the Crater Lake area, providing you with the opportunity to behold stunning landscapes and undulating hills. There is a possibility of observing wildlife from the road within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at the lodge to have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Grab a cup of African coffee and proceed to the safari reserve for a game drive. Anticipating sightings of buffaloes, lions, and a diverse array of bird species. Following enjoying an exhilarating boat tour of the Kazinga Channel, return to the lodge for lunch. During the boat journey, you will observe several species like hippos, buffalos, and elephants quenching their thirst. At the conclusion of the day, we return to the lodge.

Day 8: Travel to Bwindi Forest National Park

Day 8 of 10 days Uganda Safari, Consume African coffee and subsequently the chauffeur will transport you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for the purpose of engaging in gorilla trekking. During your journey, you will traverse through the Ishaha region, where you will get the opportunity to observe tree-climbing lions and various other forms of animals. Enjoy an evening meal and spend the night at the resort.

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking

Day 9 of 10 days Uganda Safari, Retrieve a cup of coffee and proceed to the headquarters to receive a briefing from the game rangers. It is advisable to bring a packed lunch from the resort, an ample supply of potable water, and appropriate trekking gear. Upon entering the jungle, the trekking expedition will commence. Upon locating the gorillas, the family will allocate one hour to spend in their presence before returning to the lodge.

Day 10: Transportation to Kampala

Following breakfast, our driver will be ready to transport you back to Kampala. You will have a halt in Mbarara town for lunch and then continue to the Uganda equator for taking photographs. Upon arrival in Kampala, the driver will transport you either to your accommodation or directly to Entebbe International Airport for your flight.
